With its traditionally classy decor, the Bohemia barge has been designed especially with the aspiration to create a timeless and most unique experience.
You can hire our large 60 capacity boat for any number of purposes and serenely glide down the Bridgewater Canal away from the hustle of the city centre. There’s now a whole range of wildlife to keep you occupied both on the banks of the canal and in the water – if that’s your thing – from herons and kingfishers to silver birch and orchids.
Then again you could give your guests loads of drink, good food, lots of tunes, or perhaps DJ yourself if that’s your thing?
Hello Matt, Thanks to you and the Bohemia crew for a special day on Saturday for Dave’s 40th birthday. We had 4 generations of our family & friends from different parts of the North who all wanted to see him while he is here from Australia with his wife and daughters, and being on the boat from the centre of town and back was the ideal way for everyone to be together.
We all had a great time, from the oldest (77 year old) to the youngest (3 day old), especially since we went past Old Trafford, which Dave had not seen for 10 years, and that his daughters + the 3 day old were seeing for the first time. The Bridgewater Canal and Salford in the Sun’s a bit different than the Swan River in Western Australia, but the Aussie contingent said they preferred it.Look forward to seeing you when the Football season starts, even if it’s only from the Castlefield.

I wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for last Saturday and take the chance on a personal note to say thank you for giving Beverly a most memorable 50th birthday party. The DJ & all other staff made the occasion & would not have been the same. I believe all our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we have had nothing but very positive feedback about the evening, in particular the chance to hold it on the Drybarge!
