Drybarge sponsor Castlefield Food Festival

It looks like summer is finally upon us and it’s very exciting times for Manchester’s City Centre’s Number 1 party barge hire. This year we have partnered with the Castlefield Food Festival and it all starts at 4pm today ! The festival starts from today and finishes on Sunday Night the 15th May. It’s an absolute honor to be involved with such a prestigious Manchester festival and we are certainly looking forward to tasting some of the food delights that are going to be on offer. The festival will also be serving up some fantastic entertainment across the whole weekend. There is also a farmers market to buy great produce, a night market taking place tonight and plenty of food kitchen demos for those who want to hone those skills.

For those who are taking our regular Drybarge boat trip service to Manchester United stadium this Sunday to take on Bournemouth, we recommend you get into Castlefield earlier than usual and come and sample the food festival, our barge is parked right on the doorstep of the festival and we will also be returning you back to it, so if you’ve got a good appetite its definitely worth the visit.

Drybarge are really pleased to be involved with the Castlefield Food Festival as we are always happy to invite people down to to Castlefield Bowl it’s a fantastic space and has been our home for the last 10 years. Drybarge will also be involved with a number of festivals over the summer of 2016 and it’s great for us to have the opportunity to work alongside such festivals a Festwich the UK’s biggest Free tribute festival and encourage communities getting together. We’ve an extremely busy summer ahead but we have always got time and windows available in our events calendar for any of you who fancy a lovely summer private boat trip or party for any occasion including birthdays, office parties and celebrations, exploring Manchester’s canals and scenery.
